My Happiness Project-Day 1

I got this idea from my friend Juli who got it from another website. I've decided to put my own twist on it. What you do is post a photo of something that makes you happy. I resolve to post a picture every day for the entire month of July. So that's 30 posts of things that make me happy. Since I have so much time on my hands now that I'm not working and I really need to be a better blogger, I figured this would be a good way to get the ball rolling. Plus, who couldn't use a reminder of the things in life that makes them happy? I sure can. So today is the first day of the happiness project. My first photo is me on vacation (which is where I am writing this from). Nate and I had the opportunity to go to Palm Desert for free! His dad has a time share that he was not able to use, so we got to use it. This place is huge! It's at a Marriott and it's been very relaxing. So my picture is me by the pool drinking a pina colada. That is serious happiness.

My teeth are abnormally white in this pic. Kind of weird. This pic was taken with my Iphone with the Hipstamatic application, which is something else that makes me happy! It makes anything look good. It's the only way I would post a pic of me in a bikini.
