I love removing painters tape. You know why? Because that means you are done with the painting! I feel like it's the big reveal when you peel away the tape. It totally sucks when a. the tape peels off the paint or b. when the paint gets under the tape. But for the most part the removal of the tape is the most satisfying part of the project. I was even more psyched to remove this tape because it wasn't just the end of this particular painting job, but all my painting jobs. After 6 months of home ownership, I am finally done with painting! I spent the last 5 or so days painting the door trims and it was such a relief to finish today. All I have left are some touch ups where that darn paint snuck under the tape.

it's soooo satisfying to peel that tape off!! we like change too much, so we painted our living room twice before hitting the 3rd year of living here. i still haven't done all the painting i want to do, but i cannot decide on a color for our bedroom. i hope you'll be posting more pics of your house. the little bits and pieces of it look great!
