During the summer Staples always offers some great deals. Some of these deals include items being sold for 1 cent! This past week it was pencils and pocket folders. They always have a limit of how many you can purchase, but they make an exception for teachers. I always drag Nate along so he can buy some too. Thank you Staples for offering school supplies at such an incredible price! Right before making this purchase I bought a frame for a penny at Aaron Bros. 1 cent frame sale. It was a penny purchase day!
I had a really hard day today that resulted in a lot of tears and a serious talk with Nate that resulted in nothing except more tears. So I thought I'd post a few extra pics to remind myself that there was some good to come out of today. Like when I walked outside to take my dog on a walk and saw this rainbow. I love rainbows! Then we saw this dog that must sit on top of a doghouse or something to look over the fence. We've seen him before and he never barks or tries to jump over, he just watches us. So cute! And finally, I got a pair of Toms that I have been wanting forever. If you aren't familiar with Toms, for every pair purchased a pair is donated to a child in need. That makes me feel good knowing a kid is getting a sweet pair of shoes because of me.
