We went to Alex's Bar last night in Long Beach to watch the legendary Phil Shane. He is awesome. If you aren't familiar with Phil Shane, which you probably are, he's this tiny singer who performs cover songs (namely Neil Diamond) and has these great moves and wardrobe changes that includes a few different sequined jackets. It was a fun Friday night with some friends. 
I love Nate's schedule! This is a picture of his calendar that shows all 3 shifts of the KCFD. His shift is the red. So the numbers that are red are the days he works. The other colors are his days off. So if you look closely, you can see that he only works about 10 days a month. Pretty nice gig, huh? It's been really nice having him off so much this summer and being able to spend so much time with him. Summer days with the hubs makes me happy!
