Nate came home on Friday and we celebrated Halloween by handing out candy at my dad's house. Sadly, there were very few trick-or-treaters. Where did they all go? I remember when I was little and we went trick-or-treating, the streets were packed with kids. Is it because we all grew up and moved away? Or are kids not trick-or-treating these days in fear of murderers, rapists, and terrorists? I hope it's not the latter. On Saturday, we went to our neighbors' party. We dressed up as a flapper and a twenties gangster. Last Wednesday, I celebrated Halloween at school. My district makes it a point to schedule staff development days on Halloween so my school had their annual "Say Boo To Drugs Parade" on the 29th. We get away with still having a parade by tying it into our Red Ribbon Week activities. Sneaky, sneaky. I dressed up as Hannah Montana. It was pretty awesome. The kids loved it! I hope you all had a great Halloween! Enjoy the pics.
