Our adorable apartment, our newlywed suite, has already been rented out. We aren't leaving for another 3 weeks, but my landlord wanted it to be rented out before we were gone in fear that he wouldn't be able to rent it out in December. Yah right. He had the place listed for 1 day and it rented. This place is perfect, no one in their right mind would pass it up. Our little cottage is adorable. I love our white picket fenced front yard that allows Harley to greet all the neighbors as they arrive home. I love our huge backyard. I love our dual garage that houses my prized possession (my car). I love the privacy of the unit. I love having our own washer and dryer footsteps away. I am really going to miss this place. I remember opening our wedding presents on the floor the day after our wedding and eating Morning Star buffalo wings on our new plates. I will especially miss the area. I love Eastside Costa Mesa. We are close to everything: South Coast Plaza, Triangle Square, Fashion Island, the beach, the freeway. I'm so sad to be leaving. I thought that maybe we would buy a house in the area, but I know that will never happen with Nate's new job opportunity. Nate tried to comfort me yesterday by saying our next place would be a house. I responded by saying, "yeah my dad's house! That doesn't count!"

Wow that rented fast! I'm sorry you are so sad to be leaving your place :( Hopefully staying with your dad while Nate finishes the academy will go quickly. You know where you can come and hangout :)

poor thing!!!It's hard leaving that first place. I was even sad to leave my crappy basement apartment with exposed pipes and a bathroom door that never opened all the way because it hit the sink. Be sure to take lots of photos!!You'll always want to remember it!
