#12, #82 done

Remember that list I began this blog with? If you don't, check it out here. I accomplished some of my tasks without even trying the past couple of days.

#12 Have a spa day with my mother-in-law.
As a xmas present, Kraig (my MIL's husband) paid for all of us to have a spa day at Burke-Williams. Kraig had a massage, Denise had microdermabrasion, and I had a facial. I've never been to Burke Williams before. It was pretty nice. Too crowded for my taste though. How can I relax with a ton of people around me? We went to the one at the Kaleidoscope in Mission Viejo. I've only had a facial one other time and I enjoyed it until they did the extractions. My face also broke out really bad afterwards. So I was pretty nervous to get another one, especially since my skin has been so bad ever since I went off the pill. It was pretty heavenly until the painful extractions. Luckily, my skin is not any worse than it was yesterday. It actually has a nice glow to it. I would go back. The great thing about facials there is that it is accompanied by a great neck, shoulder, and upper back massage. The esthetician also did my arms, hands, legs, and feet. I wish I had known that was coming, I would have shaved! I took advantage of the peaceful resting room, hot tub, and showers. It was great.

#82 Go to church on a day that is not a holiday
I went 3 days after Christmas. That counts, right? Nate and I went to Saddleback Church with his dad and stepmom for their Sunday service. I haven't been in a church since Xmas 2007. I always feel guilty when I go to church since I'm not Christian. I feel like everyone knows and they are all out to convert me. I really don't like church. To me, it's a sales pitch. It's a performance. Especially at Saddleback. That church is so big and high tech. They sang like 6 songs. I wish I enjoyed it more and felt the message more, but I don't. Even though I do not consider myself a Christian, I know Nate would like our children to be raised as Christians, just as he was. Once we have kids, I'll try to go to church more often.
