Today is our 4 year wedding anniversary! I always throw in the word "wedding" when I say this because we actually got married 5 years ago, but had our wedding 4 years ago today. Nate started a 48 hour shift today so he won't be home until Sunday. Since he had to work on our special day, we celebrated last night at the Melting Pot. We have always wanted to try it, but never got around to it. It was really good and fun too! Our server was really nice and friendly and when he found out it was our anniversary he gave us complimentary champagne. Then when we went to pay the (huge) bill, the guy came back and said our debit card was declined! WTF! I know we have money. So I gave him mine (same account). Declined! Holy cow, we have no other form of payment. So Nate had to leave me for about 15 minutes to go to the ATM and get cash. So embarassing! While he was gone, the server came back and said that the entire system was down and that is why it didn't go through! Phew! It wasn't because we were broke! He was super apologetic and the manager came by and apologized and gave us a $30 gift card for next time. So it was an interesting evening!

congrats! Willie and I tried the Melting Pot too- it was pretty fun and really good but man is it pricey!
