Restaurant review
I haven't reviewed a restaurant in a really long time so here goes. We went to the Los Alamitos Fish Company last night to celebrate Nate's birthday. It's a tradition of my dad's to take his kids and their spouses to this restaurant for their birthdays. He's been doing this for years, but for some reason he never took Nate and me. Instead, we got the Olive Garden. Well, he finally took us last night. I had a shrimp and scallop skewer with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. It was delicious. Every dinner comes with soup and salad so I got the New Englad clam chowder. It was kind of sweet, which I don't really like. Nate had the swordfish and he said it was rubbery and overcooked. What a bummer for such an expensive dish. Overall, it was a good meal, but it is nothing compared to my favorite, The Fisherman's.
